United Way Manitowoc County is trying to raise $30,000 as part of a fundraising campaign.
The “Make It Rain for Youth” Spring Fundraiser is dedicated to funding essential youth programs that advance mental health, social and emotional skills, and academic outcomes.
United Way Executive Director Ashley Bender says through ‘Make it Rain for Youth”, we are calling on our community to come together and make a tangible difference, by raising $30,000, to help the lives of young people.
An announcement from the organization continues saying “Make it Rain for Youth” also underscores United Way’s commitment to providing opportunities for all youth through it’s Youth Development Fund, an initiative which includes school districts and youth-serving organizations from across Manitowoc County.
The goal is to raise the $30,000 by the end of June.
