
There are two Manitowoc County governmental meetings scheduled for today.
The Public Work Committee will start the day off in the Public Health Building at 4:30 p.m.
After getting updates on the capital projects planned for 2024, the group will get an update on the Courthouse Dome Renovation project and bid to replace the windows and HVAC system at the courthouse.
Then, at 5:00 p.m., the Public Safety Committee will meet in the Communications and Technology Building.
After getting their usual monthly reports and hearing comments from the public, the group will elect a first and second vice-chair.
Then, Sheriff Dan Hartwig will give an update on the budget and staffing before the committee and county board members get an inspection tour of the jail.
