For the fourth time in just over a month, the Sheboygan Police Department has reported an incident of violence in the city.
Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of South 26th Street at around 3:35 Monday morning (June 10th) on a report of shots being fired.
The investigating officers located several spent shell casings on the roadway, and two vehicles that had been damaged.
No injuries were reported.
Witnesses supplied suspect descriptions to police, which was relayed to other agencies in the area, including the Sheboygan Falls Police Department.
They located the suspect, a 31-year-old Sheboygan Falls resident, and they were arrested without incident.
The shooting was believed to have been an isolated incident, and the public is not believed to be in any danger.
There has been an uptick in reported violence incidents in Sheboygan over the past month, starting with a shooting on May 4th.
Then, just over two weeks ago, there was another shots fired complaint.
A week after that, an officer was involved in a shooting with a stabbing suspect.
