The roar of airplanes could be filling the sky of Manitowoc this Saturday.
EAA Chapter 383 in Manitowoc is hosting an event called a Fly-In tomorrow (June 8th).
It consists of pilots and their passengers getting a discount for flying into the Manitowoc County Airport to enjoy either breakfast or lunch.
Chapter Treasurer George Bamman said on the WCUB Breakfast Club that breakfast starts at 7 a.m. and goes until 10 a.m., after which lunch will be served.
The event is also open to the public with food being free for those who attend.
Attendees will also have a chance to fly with the Sheboygan County Flyers; however, that does come with a cost.
It’s $50 for adults and children under 12 can get on for $25.
Bamman says the event takes place at Hanger #22 at the airport located off Menasha Ave.
