Another road closure has been announced in Sheboygan.
The Department of Public Works is informing residents that Union Avenue between South Business Drive and Sauk Trail Road will be closed starting Monday (June 10th) for a construction project.
Crews will be out repairing the storm and sanitary sewer in that area, as well as the curbs, gutters, and sidewalks, while new asphalt is poured.
While through traffic will be detoured, residents of the area will still have access to their homes.
This project is scheduled to be completed sometime in August, but the weather could impact the timeline.
The Department of Public Works also asks anyone driving in an area where workers are on the ground to drive slowly and with caution.
