A Reedsville High School baseball project has reached a fundraising goal.
An announcement from the school district’s Facebook page says they’ve exceeded their $100,000 mark to improve their baseball field.
The district says they are both thankful for those who’ve donated so far and appreciative of those people, businesses, and organizations who are considering donating.
The baseball field project includes field improvements like regarding the entire playing surface, new backstop, fencing, bleachers, dugouts, and a new scoreboard.
In a PowerPoint presentation from a Reedsville School District and Village joint meeting in January, all the memorials already there must stay in place and the district will make the necessary improvements to the baseball field to address safety concerns.
There isn’t a timeline to when the project will get started.
