The woman accused of leaving her mother in putrid conditions is going to have to wait to make her plea.
WFRV TV reports that 39-year-old Elizabeth Drake was in Brown County Court Monday (June 3rd), where her plea hearing was moved back by a month.
She is next due in court on July 12th where she will enter her plea.
Drake was arrested in December after a delivery driver reported hearing calls for help from inside her home on Vroman Street.
Investigators noted that they found Drake’s mother in a bed covered in bugs and caked on excrement.
The home has since been condemned, while Drake is facing charges of Intentionaly Subjecting an Individual at Risk to Abuse, Causing Bodily Harm, and Improper Animal Shelter Sanitation.
She was released shortly after her arrest on $5,000 signature bond.
