A fire in the village of Cleveland was started on purpose.
That’s according to the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office in an announcement on their Facebook page last week.
52-year-old Kristin Dewar of Cleveland was arrested without incident after the fire.
She has since been released on a signature bond after an initial court appearance on May 28th.
Multiple emergency agencies were called to a Cleveland home in the 1100 block of Franklin Drive on May 26th for a house fire.
After a thorough investigation, it was determined that the fire was started intentionally.
Her motive is still unknown.
Dewar faces charges of recklessly endangering safety and one count of unsafe burning of a building.
