The future of Milwaukee Public Schools Superintendent Keith Posley is uncertain as the school board is set to meet at 5:30 this afternoon to discuss his potential termination.
Posley is under scrutiny due to parent backlash against proposed budget cuts and the state’s threat to withhold millions of dollars over two overdue reports.
Additionally, MPS had its Head Start funding suspended due to claims of abuse and neglect and failure to submit a federal safety plan.
Posley has been serving as the superintendent since 2018.
