Manitowoc County will be looking for a new county treasurer in the future.
A letter obtained by Seehafer News shows that Amy Kocian is leaving the job on Monday, June 17th.
According to the letter, she’s accepted a position within Manitowoc County’s Finance Department.
Before her employment with Manitowoc County, Kocian worked for 26 years in the Accounting and Finance field, and the new opportunity allows her to get back to a department where she is more familiar with her education and experience.
Kocian calls it an honor and privilege to serve the citizens of Manitowoc County as Treasurer.
