There are numerous local and area baseball teams still alive in the regional round of the WIAA State Tournament.
In Division 1, #2 Manitowoc Lincoln will begin their postseason push at home against #10 Oshkosh North in a regional semifinal game.
First pitch at Municipal Field is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
In the same sectional bracket, #5 Menasha is on the road to take on #4 West Bend East.
In the Sectional #2 Bracket, top seeded De Pere is hosting #9 West De Pere, #13 Appleton West is making the short trip to #12 Appleton East, and #3 Bay Port is hosting #6 Pulaski.
There are a pair of Division 2 teams still alive in our area.
Top-seeded Kiel is hosting #5 Plymouth for the Regional Championship today, and the winner will face #6 Xavier in the Sectional Semifinals next Tuesday.
And in Division 3, #1 Mishicot will try to join their softball counterparts in the sectional round as they host #5 Algoma today.
The winner will take on St. Mary Catholic in sectional semifinal action next Tuesday.
