An impressive field of athletes will compete again this year in the 2024 Bellin Run.
Deedra Irwin of Pulaski, an Olympic biathlete, and defending Bellin Run champion Jared Ward will both compete in this year’s run on June 8th.
Ward is a three-time Bellin Run champion, having captured the men’s title in 2019, 2022, and 2023. In 2022, Irwin placed seventh in the biathlon at the Beijing Olympics.
On the men’s side, Bellin Run newcomer Jacob Heslington will challenge Ward for the 10K title, who has a personal best 2:17:40 and was a competitor at this year’s Olympic Marathon Trials.
On the women’s side, Sarah Sellers, Sara Lopez, and defending Bellin Run champion Kathy VanDehy of Menasha will compete.
Online registration for the Bellin Run is $40 per person through Saturday, June 1st, and $45 from June 2-6th.
Anyone who comes in person will have to pay $50.
This is the 48th year for the run.
