To address declining enrollment, Green Bay’s school district is considering a plan to close more schools.
In two weeks, the school board will review a proposal to close six schools, demolish and rebuild one school, and request a tax increase to improve three others.
The district has been grappling with underutilized buildings for over a year, currently operating at 76% capacity, and projecting to drop to 67% within the next decade.
