A 24-year-old daycare worker was arrested last Wednesday after a child in her care was found with cocaine in their system.
The child was admitted to Children’s Hospital with scratches and bruises, leading to a toxicology report that revealed cocaine exposure.
A subsequent search of Kinder Care on Howell uncovered cocaine.
Police are seeking felony charges for child neglect and drug possession against the worker.
