
The storms yesterday (May 28th) caused several local and area postseason matchups to be postponed until today.
The Manitowoc Lincoln girl’s soccer squad will try to pull off an upset over #2-seeded Hamilton at 6:00 tonight, while in softball, only three games were affected.
In Division 1, #5 De Pere will make the trip to Kaukauna to take on the top-ranked team in the bracket, while #3 Green Bay Preble makes the short trip to take on #2 Ashwaubenon.
In Division 2, #5, Seymour will try to pull off an upset in Freedom against the 2-seeded Irish.
The winner will face #1 Waupun for a trip to state.
And in Division 1 baseball, #9 West De Pere is at #8 Ashwaubenon today, while #12 Appleton East will try to upset #5 Kaukauna, #5 Menasha hosts #12 Oshkosh West, and #7 Fond du Lac defends their home diamond against #10 Oshkosh North.
The winner of that matchup will take on the second-seeded Manitowoc Lincoln Ships tomorrow.
In Division 2, #5 Plymouth is on the road to take on #4 Chilton at 4:30 p.m., which is also when the Division 3 matchup between #5 Algoma and #4 Brillion squads will take place at the home of the Lions.
Also in that division, #4 Kohler/Sheboygan Lutheran is hosting #5 Winnebago Lutheran, and #10 St. Mary’s Springs is invading #2 Cedar Grove-Belgium.
Lastly, in Division 4, #4 Reedsville faces #5 Rosholt in Kaukauna.
