The Woodland Dunes Nature Center is getting ready for National Trails Day next week.
On June 1st, the group will lead free guided hikes through their seven miles of outdoor trails.
Communications Director Nancy Nabak calls this an excellent opportunity to get to know the trails in your own “backyard” and discover new ones that are just a short drive away.
Those who join the hike at Woodland Dunes will get a free neck gator.
Participants over 21 will also get a free token for a craft beer or soda from Cool City Brewing.
The free tours take place on Saturday, June 1st.
