The woman convicted in a grizzly homicide in Green Bay has begun the appeals process.
Taylor Schabusiness was sentenced to life in prison for the killing and dismemberment of Shad Thyrion in February of 2022, a case that captured the attention of people around the state and the country.
FOX11 reports that her appeal process has only just begun, and the grounds for her appeal may take months to come to light.
Attorney Greg Petit was assigned to the case earlier this month, and he will be reviewing court transcripts.
Schabusiness’ team will also submit legal briefs prior to the court making a decision on the appeal.
