The City of Manitowoc could be called the Specialty Malt Capital of the World.
An email from Briess Malting to Seehafer News explains that a proclamation will be read at next month’s Common Council meeting before an event commemorating the proclamation the week after.
The event will take place at the Wisconsin Maritime Museum to make a public announcement at 3:30 pm.
There will be beer samples from PetSkull and Sabbatical Breweries as well as Craft Creek and the Sub Pub.
The event will be free for those who attend.
There will also be specialty glasses given out.
