The Manitowoc Lincoln baseball team kicked off a three day, three game road trip yesterday with an 8-2 win over Sheboygan North.
Brayden Steinbecker and Seth Gibault split time on the mound, combining to strike out 11 batters and allow just 3 hits on the day.
At the plate, the Ships plated three runs right out of the gate and used that momentum to pick up the FRCC win.
Steinbecker and Cade Grapentine used their two hits apiece to drive home two runs, while Brady Hadler also picked up two hits and crossed home plate twice.
The win gives the Ships a 20-3 regular season record and a 14-3 record in the FRCC. They have one more conference game on the calendar, and that will be at Notre Dame Academy this evening.
The Ships will close out the regular season Friday at Kaukauna before taking a six-day break.
They will then begin their postseason run by hosting either Fond du Lac or Oshkosh North.
