Dayveon Lathrop, a 20-year-old accused of murdering his eight-year-old adopted sister in Janesville, has been found competent to stand trial.
Following multiple competency exams, a judge ruled that Lathrop will face trial for the alleged crime.
His bail was set at $1.5 million, and he is scheduled to appear in court again on June 7th.
