The Green Bay Police Department welcomed five new officers to the force Wednesday (May 22nd).
Patrol Officers Lane Fox, Samantha Micke, and Hunter Kneiss were all welcomed, while Kaden Leick and Dominic Rivera were sworn in as Community Service Officers.
With the addition of these five officers, the Green Bay Police Department is now up to 180 sworn staff members.
Police Chief Chris Davis said in a news release, “I am honored to swear in a group that is made up of two of our Community Service Officers, a lateral transfer, and two others who are just beginning their law enforcement career.”
Additionally, one more recruit officer will graduate from Fox Valley Technical College this year and will be sworn in at that time.
