Those who travel on I-41 near Appleton will have fewer headaches this week.
The Wisconsin DOT says that while there may be reduced lanes overnight in both directions in areas where crews are working, there aren’t any major closures or detours needed this week.
However, the long-term closures will remain in effect. Capitol Drive over I-41 between North Capitol Court and Northridge Lane will remain closed until August, and Rose Hill Road between Fairlane Drive and East Evergreen Drive will remain closed through mid-September.
This five-year project is now in its second month as crews expand the interstate between Appleton and De Pere.
