The public is asked to submit comments for a big water project in Sheboygan Falls.
The Wisconsin DNR announced that the city is an applicant through the Safe Drinking Water Loan Program to improve its public drinking system.
The plan would be to replace the existing Fond du Lac Avenue booster station if they get the loan. First the DNR will do an environmental review before the project is funded.
The project is not expected to result in significant adverse environmental effects either. Comments can be submitted until Tuesday, June 4th to the DNR.
Based on comments, the Safe Drinking Water Loan Program may prepare an environmental analysis before giving the funding.
Comments can be sent by email or to the Wisconsin DNR Financial and Community Assistant Elizabeth Higgin in Madison.
