A business in Appleton suffered major damage as a result of a fire yesterday (May 21st).
WBAY TV reports that the Appleton Fire Department was called to the unnamed business in the 800 block of North Meade Street at around 11:30 a.m. on a report of a fire.
All of the employees had evacuated, so crews began attacking the blaze.
It was determined that the fire had started on some electrical panels and was under control within about an hour.
The fire caused an estimated $250,000 in damage, but no one was hurt.
The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation.
