The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is urging people to book their camping trips as soon as possible, even if they are planned for a few months ahead.
Campsites are filling up quickly, with reservations available up to 11 months in advance.
Many of the prime spots in Wisconsin’s popular state parks are already reserved for the summer.
Additionally, those hoping to camp on Memorial Day weekend should act fast, as many parks are nearing full capacity for the holiday.
