
Three Manitowoc Lincoln Runners took home four gold medals at the Divisiojn 1 WIAA Sectional Track and Field Meet in Neenah yesterday (May 20th).
Tessa Campbell had a phenomenal meet, taking home gold in the 200—and 400-meter dash events, Caleb Jatczack won the 1600-meter run, and Travis Verin claimed the 300-meter hurdles.
Hallie Schroeter in the 100 and 300 hurdles, Vertin in the 110 hurdles, and Koen Bubolz in the 300 hurdles earned runner-up finishes.
Also earning second place finishes were the boys and girls 4×400 relay teams comprised of Breanna Jansky, Ava Bierman, Campbell and Khloe Jalbert, as well as Logan Oehlke, Lucas Gallgegos, Jatczak and Landon Zick.
The Ships’ third place finishers were Lexi Brey in the 300 hurdles, Kaitlyn Jansky in the 200-meter dash, and the girls 4×200 meter relay team of Hallie Schroeter, Kaitlyn Jansky, Khloe Jalbert, Breanna Jansky.
Also earning a trip to the sectional meet Thursday at West Bend by virtue of a top-four finish were high jumper Makena Stockinger, Julien Bailey in the Triple Jump, Koen Bubolz in the 110 hurdles, and the girls 4×100 relay team of Kaitlyn Jansky, Ava Biermann, Ava Popp, and Katherine Maser.
As a team, the girls finished fourth with the boys came in 5th.
