A woman has been arrested after a crash on a major Manitowoc roadway.
Officers were called to the intersection of Calumet Avenue and South 35th Street at around 6:15 p.m. Thursday to investigate the crash.
The officers spoke with the 29-year-old female driver and noticed she was displaying signs of intoxication. She submitted to a field sobriety test, and was arrested or her 2nd OWI.
While at a local hospital for a blood draw, the woman began acting erratic and uncooperative, to the point the officer threatened to put her in a movement restriction device.
The woman continued to resist, so she was placed in the device known as a wrap.
She was then taken to the Manitowoc County jail on additional charges of Resisting or Obstructing an Officer and Felony Bail Jumping.
