A major roadway in Manitowoc will be undergoing some construction starting next week.
The City of Manitowoc’s Engineering Division Manager, Greg Minikel, announced that the section of Franklin Street between South 21st and South 26th Street will be closed starting Monday (May 20th) for a complete reconstruction and utility work project.
It is expected that traffic on South 21st and South 26th Street will not be affected.
The project is expected to take until around August 23rd to complete.
