An executive order from Wisconsin’s governor makes the race for Wisconsin’s 8th Congressional District a special election.
Tony Evers’s Executive Order #226 sets the election for November 5th, with a primary to be held on August 13th.
Circulation of nomination papers for candidates are out now and must be filed by 5 pm on June 1st.
There will also be a special election in the 4th Wisconsin Senate District in Milwaukee after State Senator Lean Taylor was appointed as a Milwaukee County judge.
