The Manitowoc Public School Board now has committees again.
Board President Chris Able says when the new board was sworn in they decided to bring the committee format back.
The board used to run under a Committee of the Whole style, meaning there were no committees, and all action was taken at board meetings. Some board members at previous meetings discussed wanting to return to having committees.
The five committees include the Executive Committee, which is made up of the Board President, Vice President, and Treasurer, as well as the Personnel and Policy, Finance and Grounds, Curriculum and Instruction, and Ethics Committees.
