
Aldi, the discount grocery store with locations around Eastern Wisconsin, has announced the recall of several cream cheese products.
The products in question were sold at stores in 28 states, including Wisconsin, and may be contaminated with salmonella.
They are the Happy Farms Whipped Cream Cheese Spread, Chive & Onion Cream Cheese Spread, Cream Cheese Spread, and Strawberry Cream Cheese Spread.
The recall notice states that these products are all 8-ounce cups with sell-by dates in late August or early September.
If you have any of these products, you are encouraged to return them to your local Aldi or discard them.
Aldi has stores in Manitowoc, Sheboygan, Green Bay, De Pere, Appleton, and 75 other locations throughout Wisconsin.
