
There are three Manitowoc County governmental meetings scheduled for today (May 14th).
The Board of Adjustment is up first at 9:00 this morning in the County Office Complex, where they will look over three conditional use permit requests in the towns of Gibson, Liberty, and Manitowoc and two variance requests in the towns of Two Creeks and Schleswig.
Then, at 9:30 a.m., the Veteran Service Commission will be in the Heritage Center to review applications for assistance.
Closing out the day will be the Highway Committee, which will be in the Highway Department building at 4:00 p.m.
After hearing comments from the public, the group will look over a traffic safety concern at the intersections of County Road AA and 1st Street in Kiel, and County Roads C and CR in Newton.
They will also get updates on salt and brine storage, personnel, and several ongoing projects.
