A home in Wrightstown nearly caught fire Monday evening.
The Wrightstown Fire Department reports that they were called to a home in the 400 block of Fair Street on a report of smoke.
While nothing was visible from the outside, a burnt circuit board caused a smoke alarm to go off.
Ventilation procedures were used to clear the rest of the smoke, and units remained on the scene for an hour to ensure everything was clear.
One resident was checked by EMS at the scene but released with no other injuries reported.
Wrightstown Fire was assisted on the scene by Greenleaf Fire, County Rescue Ambulance, Wrightstown First Responders and the Wrightstown Police Department.
