Twenty-three up. Twenty-three down.
The Mishicot softball team has completed a perfect regular season.
The Indians had one more task ahead of them to complete perfection last night as Random Lake invaded Mishicot High School, but the Indians were up to the task.
Kiran Sanford allowed only three hits while striking out 12 batters en route to an 8-2 win over the Rams.
At the plate, Kaelin Adair was a perfect 3 for 3, while also driving in a pair and scoring twice herself.
Katelyn Callahan also drove in a pair as the Indians completed their dominating regular season with a win.
Over this 23-game win streak, the Indians have outscored their opponents 264 to 20, with several no-hitters and perfect games sprinkled in for good measure.
The only game that was even close this season came earlier this month against Union Grove, when Mishicot nearly blew a 3-0 lead but held on for the 3-2 win.
Mishicot also claimed the Big East North title, dispatching all 10 opponents they faced.
