The DATCP has certified three nominees that are eligible to be elected to the Wisconsin Potato Industry Board.
Roderick Gumz of Endeavor is looking to represent District 3, which includes Manitowoc and Sheboygan Counties, among others, while Eric Schroeder of Deerbrook is running in District 1, and James Okray of Stevens Point is running in District 2.
Candidates were nominated during the period that ended March 29th, and potato growers have until June 15th to vote for the candidate they choose. DATCP will mail ballots to eligible potato growers the week of May 10th.
Growers who have not received a ballot by May 20th can request a ballot by contacting DATCP Market Orders staff at DATCPMarketOrders@wisconsin.gov.
