Chrystul Kizer, accused of killing Randall Volar in 2018, pleaded guilty to homicide in Kenosha County.
Kizer claimed that Volar had been sex trafficking her, leading to her actions.
Despite initially securing release from jail, Kizer faced subsequent arrest for assaulting another individual she accused of sex trafficking in Milwaukee.
Her guilty plea means she may face 20 years in prison instead of a life sentence, with sentencing scheduled for August.
