The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office has reported a string of vehicle thefts and entries.
Deputies were called to a series of vehicle entries and one vehicle theft in the Town of Newton and Manitowoc, near South 26th Street, County Road LS, and Northeim Lane.
It is estimated that the incidents occurred sometime between midnight and 6:00 a.m. on the morning of May 8th, with currency and various other items taken from the unlocked vehicles.
The stolen vehicle was a red 2007 Chevy Colorado with the license plate number GF3370.
The Sherrif’s Office is reminding residents to lock their cars and never leave anything valuable in plain sight.
Also, anyone living in the area of these thefts is encouraged to look over any security camera footage you may have and look for anything suspicious.
