The League of Women Voters of Manitowoc County is hosting its annual meeting next week.
It takes place at the Holiday Inn on Thursday, May 16th.
This year, the League will be giving the Democracy in Action Award to the Lincoln High School Student Senate for sponsoring public forums for candidates for the Board of Education of the Manitowoc Public School District.
The guest speaker for the evening will be Lori Fure, Director of the Manitowoc County Human Services Department.
The meeting begins at 5:00 p.m.
