A Green Bay man has been sentenced for a shooting that injured an individual.
According to FOX11 , Miguel Lavariega had previously been found guilty due to a no-contest plea charges of 2nd Degree Reckless Injury, Obstructing an Officer, and Possessing a Short Barreled Shotgun or Rifle, and was sentenced to four years on probation.
The shooting occurred in April of last year, when Lavariega brought a .22 rifle to the residence of a 19-year-old man.
At some point, the rifle inadvertently fired, with the round striking the 19-year-old.
The victim did survive, and the gun was recovered at the scene.
