Bus routes in Manitowoc will be affected by road construction in a couple of weeks.
Maritime Metro announced that Route 3 on Franklin Street and Route 6B on North Rapids Rd. will be detoured beginning on Monday, May 20th.
If Route 3 heads west on Franklin, it will turn onto Clark Street and then onto S. 26th Street, with a temporary bus stop to be placed on the west side of South 26th just north of the railroad tracks.
Construction is expected to be done by August 25th.
The 6B Route runs north on Rapids Rd. and will turn east onto Waldo Blvd, then north onto Fleetwood Dr. and then Wildwood Dr. before turning north onto Kellner St.
A temporary bus stop will be put up on the northside of Wildwood Dr. just east of Kellner St. Construction for that project should be done by August 16th.
