The magical season for the Manitowoc Lincoln baseball team continued last night as they kept their foot on the gas against Ashwaubenon.
The Ships scattered 11 hits in a 10-0 win in a 6-inning game at Municipal Field.
Brayden Steinbecker got the start and the win, going 4 and one-third innings, allowing 2 hits, and striking out a pair. Cade Grapentine closed out the matchup, allowing just one hit.
At the plate, Brady Hadler and Kam Braun each gave stellar performances, both going 3-4 and crossing home plate, while Evan Vogt notched a pair of hits, batted in a run, and scored twice.
With the win, the Ships, rated the #19 team in Wisconsin, are tied atop the FRCC with De Pere, which is also rated the #15 team in the state by MaxPreps.
Manitowoc Lincoln will be traveling to Bay Port Friday for another conference game before the long-awaited rematch with the Red Birds, who handed the Ships their only loss of the season.
That game, which could be for the FRCC crown, is scheduled for next Monday in De Pere.
