Bond has been set for a Fond du Lac man accused of child abuse and causing SWAT to respond to a home.
According to WBAY TV, 31-year-old Robbert Hall is being held on a $10,000 cash bond on charges of Child Abuse Intentionally Causing Harm, two counts of Misdemeanor Bail Jumping, and three counts of Felony Bail Jumping.
He was arrested after police responded to a home in the 600 block of East Scott Street Monday morning (May 6th) after a 911 hang-up.
Police arrived to find an 11-year-old boy outside, wearing only shorts and a blanket with visible injuries, along with a girl and a woman later identified as Hall’s ex-partner.
The boy told investigators that Hall bit him on the shoulder, threatened to hit him, and chased him with a knife.
The boy was able to flee outside and called the woman who helped hide him until police arrived.
Hall refused to cooperate with responding officers and threatened them, leading to the SWAT and crisis negotiation teams being called.
He was eventually taken into custody without further incident.
