A golf outing to support Veteran Honor Flights is returning.
The American Legion Post 477 – St. Nazianz Armed Forced Day Tee it Up ‘Fore’ Troops golf out takes place next Thursday (May 16th) at Autumn Ridge Golf Course in Valders.
144 golfers throughout northeast Wisconsin have already signed up for a spot for the 18-hole event, but several 9-hole event spots are still available.
And if you’re a Veteran, you golf for free.
There will also be a putt and chipping challenge, along with raffles and a silent auction.
Plus, there will be an auction for an opportunity to be a Guardian on the flight which happens in October of this year.
Event Organizer Dan Reinke says the post would like to fill a plane of Veterans on an Honor Flight, but it costs $500 per person, so donations are very beneficial.
