After a day where only a few local and area soccer games were played due to the rain, there are some games scheduled for today around the area.
In baseball, Manitowoc Lincoln will put their 16-1 overall and 12-1 conference records on the line at home against Ashwaubenon, who currently sits at 7-7 overall.
Elsewhere, it will be a major EWC battle in Kiel as the Raiders host Brillion for a doubleheader.
Kiel is a perfect 12-0 in conference play, while the Lions only have one blemish on their EWC schedule, a 1-0 loss to Chilton.
Elsewhere, Plymouth is on the road for Winneconne, Sheboygan South is hosting Green Bay Southwest, Green Bay Preble is at Pulaski, Appleton East is home for Kimberly, Appleton North is hosting Oshkosh West, and Appleton West is at Sun Prairie East.
In softball, another big EWC matchup, as Reedsville invades Brillion.
The Lions have been red hot over the past four games, outscoring their opponents 39-5, while Reedsville has split their last four games, including two that went to extra innings.
Also, Chilton will try to build on a recent win as they travel to Sheboygan South, Plymouth plays host to Nicolet, Random Lake hosts Kewaskum, Notre Dame is home for Fox Valley Lutheran, and De Pere invades Ashwaubenon.
There are also two area soccer games on the area schedule. Green Bay East is in West De Pere while Appleton West invades Oshkosh West.
