Darrell Brooks, the perpetrator of the tragic Waukesha Christmas Parade incident, entered a plea of no contest in a witness intimidation case in Milwaukee County.
Brooks conceded that the prosecution possessed sufficient evidence to secure a conviction.
Authorities alleged that Brooks attempted to intimidate his former girlfriend, whom he had assaulted and struck with a vehicle approximately two weeks before the Christmas Parade rampage in 2021.
Despite an upcoming sentencing in August for the intimidation charge, Brooks is currently serving multiple life sentences for the fatal attack, which claimed six lives and left 60 others injured.
