Another day, another flawless performance on the mound for Mishicot.
The Indians softball team cruised by Reedsville 10-0 yesterday, with Kirian Sanford striking out 15 batters and allowing zero baserunners so secure a perfect game.
She helped her cause at the plate as well, going 2 for 2 while knocking in a pair of runs.
Katelyn Callahan only got one hit on the day but made it count, driving in three runs, while Cora Nelson had two RBI with her lone hit.
Cora Stodola had the final RBI of the day on her solo hit.
Reedsville’s Kayla Bubolz struggled on the mound, allowing 9 runs on 7 hits and 5 walks, while Ella Skaletski allowed the final run in the 5th inning, causing the mercy rule to go into effect.
With the win, the Indians improve to 21-0, and sit comfortably atop the Big East North standings.
Reedsville falls to 7-8 and will be back at it today in Brillion before getting another shot at ending the Indians’ win streak at home this Thursday.
