The teen arrested in connection to a shooting at Appleton’s Erb Park last year has been convicted.
FOX11 reports that 17-year-old Cashmere Willimas was found guilty due to a no-contest plea on one count of Attempted 1st Degree Intentional Homicide, while several other charges were dismissed but read into the record.
The incident occurred at the park on July 31st, where Williams admitted in court that he brought a gun just in case he was jumped again.
Williams stated that he saw the victim, and his anger overtook him due to the previous incident, and he shot the victim.
The unnamed victim did survive.
Williams is due back in court on June 21st for sentencing, where he could be ordered to spend as many as 60 years in prison.
