Megan Dehate of Eau Claire has pleaded guilty in connection to a violent burglary case in Dunn County.
Dehate, who entered her plea on Friday, initially faced charges of armed burglary and elder abuse.
However, she negotiated the charges down to burglary and physical abuse of an elderly person.
Investigators allege that Dehate, under the influence of substances, broke into the home of an elderly couple and assaulted the husband with a 20-pound metal object.
Despite the attack, the husband managed to subdue Dehate.
Sentencing is scheduled for August.
