A Sheboygan man was treated for a gunshot wound over the weekend.
According to the Sheboygan Police Department, officers and EMS were dispatched to the 1300 block of North 14th Street at around 2:00 a.m. after a caller reported that they had just shot their friend.
The 19-year-old male victim was taken to a Hospital in Appleton for treatment of what were described as “critical, but non-life-threatening injuries”, while the also 19-year-old male suspect was taken into custody without incident.
It was not stated what led to the shooting, but both men were said to be intoxicated at the time.
A charge of 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety was referred to the District Attorney’s Office.
