University of Wisconsin-Madison officials have agreed to another meeting with campus protesters following a productive initial discussion.
Chancellor Jennifer Mnookin expressed her willingness to engage with protest organizers regarding their demands, provided that they dismantle their encampments, which were removed by authorities on Wednesday.
Mnookin reiterated her stance against allowing further encampments.
The protesters have articulated their demands, including divestment from Israel and a ceasefire in the Gaza conflict.
